Why we produce where we produce
Our socks are made in Turkey, within the European customs area. That means no anonymous mass production and no global shipping. We work directly with our factories and build long-term partnerships instead of fast price pressure. This keeps the chain fair and efficient.
Sustainability starts with quality
Our socks last on average three times longer than fast-fashion socks. This is due to reinforced zones, stronger yarns, and a fabric blend that doesn’t lose its shape after a few washes.
All yarns are OEKO-TEX 100 certified.
We are gradually increasing the share of organic cotton according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) - the world’s strictest standard for organic textiles. It ensures that not only the cotton itself but the entire production chain from cultivation to packaging meets ecological and social criteria.

At SOLIT, we prefer to focus on what we’re already putting into practice rather than what we hope to achieve someday. No promises for the future - just choices that already make a difference today in our production, our materials, and the way we ship. These are the steps we’re already taking.

What we’re doing today

Our socks are produced almost entirely in Turkey, within the European customs area. This means shorter transport routes, better control over working conditions, and lower CO₂ emissions compared to production outside Europe.

We don’t use plastic bags, labels, or shipping materials. Our mailbox boxes and shipping packages are made entirely of paper and can simply be recycled with regular paper waste. Prevention is better than compensation.

The yarns we use are tested and free from harmful substances. That’s better for your skin and for the environment. This way, we ensure safety without compromising comfort or quality.

We don’t make fashion - we make basics. That means we only produce what people actually wear, so we never have to throw away or heavily discount leftover stock. No fast fashion, no waste.
